He has successfully led 5S & Lean Reform projects in companies like Ashok Leyland, Lucas-TVS, Windsor Machines, TVS Logistics, Hitachi Transport, Eon Electricals and several other SME’s in India. Before founding TORQUE, Mr. Manna has worked in the automotive, electrical and heavy engineering industries for more than twenty five years. Starting with BHEL, he has held leadership positions in Quality and Operations functions in these companies. His principal thrust has been towards meeting global challenges through implementation of Business Process Re-engineering, TQM, Lean and ISO/TS systems.

Mr. Tsuda worked with Hitachi for nearly 40 years where he built and ran auto components plants following Lean principles in several continents. He has made India his home for the last several years and has been the guiding light of TORQUE in its quest for making Indian businesses world class through Lean Thinking.
He has been TORQUE’s lead consultant till he moved to Japan and is much sought after by the industry for his views, advice and guidance. His passion to improve India and its common people’s condition is thoroughly imbibed by TORQUE.
Mr. Tsuda is a Mechanical Engineer from Waseda University, Japan. His passion for making Indian Industries world-class is best exemplified by his book titled, “It is now for you to change for the development of Indian industry.”
